Upload Documents
It may not always be necessary to use a system template when creating a new document. Where a document is already available on a user’s local drive, it can be uploaded directly to the document management solution.
During the upload process, users may:
- Select the appropriate folder in which the document should be filed.
- Assign a clear and consistent document title to support easy navigation and retrieval.
- Apply the appropriate document status.
If the uploaded document has not yet been reviewed or approved, it can subsequently be submitted for review and approval directly within the document management system. To upload a document:
- Navigate to the ‘Actions’ drop-down menu located in the top-right corner of the page.
- Select ‘Upload Document’.
- Select a document from the local drive for upload to the system.
- Alternatively, drag and drop the file directly into the designated upload area.
- Once the document has been added, complete the required fields in the panel to the right of the upload list, including:
- Document title
- Destination folder
- Document status
- Document type
- Optional document description
- After completing the required information, select the red ‘Upload Documents’ button located in the bottom-right corner. The document will then be uploaded to the specified location within the document management system.
Cancel Upload
During the document upload process, it may be necessary to cancel an upload, for example if the incorrect document has been selected.
To cancel a document upload:
- Select the arrow and cross icon adjacent to the document on the upload page.
- A confirmation message will appear asking for confirmation of removal of the document and cancellation of the upload process.
Download Documents
During a study, it may be necessary to download documents for local storage, distribution, or reference purposes. Any document within the document management section of AnovaOS™ can be downloaded as required. To download a document:

To download multiple documents:

- Choose ‘Download Documents’.
- Use the checkboxes located to the left of each document title to select the required documents.
- Proceed with the download action once all applicable documents have been selected.
To download an open document:
- Open the required document within the document viewer.
- Select the download icon located in the top-left corner of the document page.
