Applications can be made to participate in any clinical trial, or for compassionate use (in all of its forms globally) of any treatment used on an active study.

Patients can register their interest in participating in a particular study with their primary provider. A patient can also apply directly to participate in a registry study with their primary provider.

To apply for participation in a study:

1. Navigate to the ‘Studies’ tab on the navigation header.
2. This will show all the studies registered within AnovaOS that can be applied to.
3. Using the filter criteria or search bar, a user may locate the appropriate study they wish to apply to for participation.
4. Selecting the study will direct you to a page containing all the information stored, and available, for that study.
5. On the left-hand navigation panel, a user may select ‘Apply for participation’ to be directed to a form to complete in order to apply for this study.

The application form auto-fills details from the site profile (contacts, physician credentials, lab information, IRB preferences, etc.) or can re-use information from a previous application. It also collects anonymized patient clinical data, which can be imported directly from the patient module to avoid duplicate entry.

Submitted applications appear in the research site’s application list, and the sponsor receives an email (and AnovaOS notification for active users) to review, approve, or decline. Sponsors may also request additional details, with notifications sent back to the site for updates or re-submission.

Note: The application will also ask whether additional patients can be identified at the research site to participate in a study. Identification of additional potential study subjects could help the sponsor to complete the study faster.

Add application recipients:

AnovaOS™ stores contact details for research sites, sponsors, and studies worldwide. When an application is submitted, it is automatically sent to the sponsor’s preferred contact(s), even if they are registered but not active AnovaOS users.

If the sponsor is not registered in AnovaOS, users can add additional contacts, during the application process, to ensure the application reaches the right people.
